Protecting and presenting outstanding representative examples of natural landscapes and natural phenomena.

Go back to nature and explore Canada's country-wide system of national parks.

There are 37 national parks and 11 national park reserves in Canada that represent 31 of Canada's 39 terrestrial natural regions and protect approximately 343,377 square kilometers of lands in Canada.
These wild places, located in every province and territory, range from mountains and plains, to boreal forests and tundra, to lakes and glaciers, and much more.
Parks Canada is responsible for protecting these areas, and for managing them for visitors to understand, appreciate, and enjoy in a way that doesn't compromise their ecological integrity.

E-mail: info@justicenet.ca

JusticeNet is a not-for-profit legal service that helps people whose income is too high to qualify for legal aid and too low to afford standard legal fees. Participating professionals, including licensed lawyers, mediators and paralegals, offer assistance to eligible clients at reduced fees.

JusticeNet is a not-for-profit service helping people in need of legal expertise, whose income is too high to access legal aid and too low to afford standard legal fees. Every year, thousands of Canadians who cannot afford standard legal fees forgo the justice process.

JusticeNet includes a dynamic team with a passion for helping others, and is proud to be serving the people of Ontario since 2008.

The professionals in the program all share the conviction that justice should be accessible to all. They devote a portion of their practice to qualifying clients at reduced fees. Reduced fees are a sliding scale that takes into account both income and number of individuals supported.

  Pro Bono Ontario (PBO)
Posted by: freeadsnews - 09-03-2024, 01:16 PM - Forum: News - No Replies

Pro Bono Ontario (PBO)
https://www.probonoontario.org

Pro Bono Ontario (PBO) provides free legal services for people who need help with non-family and non-criminal matters and don’t qualify for legal aid.

To find out if you are eligible for Pro Bono services, call their Free Legal Advice Hotline, available Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Many of our clients are vulnerable individuals who desperately need help with everyday legal problems. These include frail people on fixed incomes who have fallen prey to predatory lending schemes, caregivers facing job loss when tending to sick relatives, children facing barriers to their education, or self-employed contractors struggling to collect monies owed. These and other struggling groups approach us by the thousands for help. Our services prevent a spiral of costly social problems, and often mean the difference between shelter and homelessness, food on the table and hunger, economic stability and bankruptcy, productive work and unemployment.

We also help build communities by supporting start-ups, artists, social service organizations and social entrepreneurs with the legal issues that come with running a small business in Ontario.
